OVERVIEW
Welcome to this template
This template is built for photographers and visual archives. It pairs a searchable home page gallery with an About page and a Blog, all sharing one consistent style. Use this guide as a reference whenever you need a refresher on how a section works.
HOME PAGE
Managing your archive
The home page uses the Archive Scanner component. Select it and open the property panel to add photos under the Images list — each entry can hold a title, date, location, collection, and notes. For large batches, paste structured data into Bulk Import (JSON) to fill in metadata quickly. Search, filters, and the initial grid view can all be toggled in the same panel.
ABOUT PAGE
Telling your story
Swap in your own portrait and rewrite the biography text directly on the canvas. The Awards and Publications lists are simple rows of year and title — duplicate a row to add an entry, or delete one to remove it.
BLOG
Publishing articles
Articles live in the Articles CMS collection — add a new item to publish a post. Assign a Category to each article and it will automatically appear on its category page. Cover image, title, and body all pull straight from the collection fields.
STYLE
Customizing the look
The whole site is built from a small set of shared styles. Colors such as Ink, Muted, and Rule live under Color Styles, and typography presets like Post Title, Card Title, and Body live under Text Styles. Edit a style once and every page using it updates together.
LAYOUT
Navigation and footer
The header and footer appear on every page because they live in the shared Template layout rather than on individual pages. Edit the navigation links or footer once there, and the change carries across the whole site.
PUBLISHING
Going live
Once your content and styling feel right, preview the site to check every page, then publish. You can connect a custom domain afterwards in your site settings. This guide page itself can be unpublished or deleted at any time — it’s only here to help you get started.
